Hello peeps!
I hope you all have had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend! I've been in the garden all day, tidying and planting, of course Babs, Bren and Hattie all decided to 'help'. No sooner I plant something they come along and dig it up. The back garden looks like we're growing tubes of chicken wire.
I've got the second instalment of the feather projects I did for last month's issue of Crafts Beautiful (May) using Waltzingmouse Stamps.
What you need...
Stamps: Fine Feathers - Waltzingmouse Stamps
Card stock: lime
Patterned papers: Kraft in Color 6x6 Paper Pad - Doodlebug
Promarkers
Ink pad: Onyx Black - Versafine
Baker's twine: black
Adhesives
What you do...
1 Starting with the
Magenta marker, flick the chisel point from left to right onto white card until
you have a block of colour approximately 2cm x 6.5cm. Do the next block with
Mandarin, but go from right to left. Continue with the remaining colours,
alternating the starting point. Allow the colours to overlap slightly.
2 With the Magenta at
the top, trim the card to 9cm x 14cm so the colours run down the centre. Stamp
five feathers over the colour blocks in black ink. Stamp the sentiment
underneath.
3 Create a white, top
fold A6 portrait blank; mat on to it a slightly smaller piece of bright green
card so the top edge is in line with the fold. Attach the feather panel to the
blank, again in line with the fold. Wrap two lengths of black twine around the
top of the blank and tie in a bow at the left.
Don't forget, there is lots of freebies and inspiration on the Crafts Beautiful website. Check out Waltzingmouse Stamps for some truly gorgeous stamp sets. There is also a gallery showing the Design Team makes - awesome.
Okay lovelies, I'm going to say ta ta for now, but I'll be back soon with the new Incy Wincy challenge and the last part of the feather projects.
Thank you for calling by! xx :o)
